Our luck here cleaning usually only unearths we haven’t had our tetanus shot updated, maybe our luck will change knock wood, spin in circle backwards three times, nope now I’m just splintery and dizzy.. Hopefully you have better luck, happy cleaning !!!!
Bryce’s build comments:
It’s a pretty straight forward build. While we were moving boxes at my parents’ house I found a 1957 Chevy static model kit that my dad bought when he was in high school. He told me to “throw it away it’s just collecting dust”. I don’t ever throw cool stuff like this away so we started building a 4×4 ‘57 Chevy. I’ve never seen one on the trail and thought it might be kind of cool. It’s a 1/12 scale hard body the motor came out of the same kit I added the plug wires an battery cables just for more scale details. It’s sitting on a BPC chassis with AR-60 axles for the width. 4 linked in the rear and a 3 link up front with a Chassis mounted CS-170 servo and a Holms Hobby 35t motor with MIP drivelines. We hand bent the exoskeleton around the body for a little added protection. The “Crawl for the cure” event was our second event and really the first time it has been on the rocks and the rig did really well. Bad Habit 4×4 puts together hand built rigs that are definitely put to the test and made to go the distance. Thanks for the interest in the ‘57 it will for sure be on the trails. We almost always have a table set up at every event we can make it to, stop buy a check out all of our custom built trucks and cars.
