History: From day one I got into the drifting side of RC, I’ve always wanted to build a scale version of my 1:1 car. Although, not an exact copy, it came pretty darn close. Total build time for the body start to finish was 1 month. Although I own a Yokomo YD2SXII, I wanted this build to show others in the hobby and people starting out, that, you don’t have to have the newest, latest, greatest chassis out there to be competitive. So I started with a kit and modded shock pistons and replaced o rings. Changed knuckles and carriers solely to install the scale brakes. Changed pinion to 22T and did some tuning. In the end drove and drifted great. I’m always one to help the hobby grow.
