FAN FRIDAYS FEATURED BUILD BY SALEY’S CUSTOM RC

Build info;
Here is my build based of the 1950’s Chevy Nomad. The Chevrolet Nomad is a station wagon model produced by Chevrolet that was marketed from 1955 to 1961, from 1967 to 1972, and then used as a trim package on the 1976 Vega as well as for Chevrolet vans during the late 1970s and early 1980s. In South Africa, the Nomad name was use on a small utility vehicle.  I decided to mash the years of 55 to 57 to give it my own interpretation. I took the features that I like for each year and combined to what you see. I went with the flame orange and pearl white in the same style that was featured back then. I made a custom frame for it with all aluminum trim bumper, side body trim, seats and the hood ornament. I also polished all aluminum to put into the interior along with its gauges and modified the 1.9 wheels to give a deep-dish rim on the wheel and narrowed the fronts with functioning lights. I curved the windshield and side windows to stay true to its 1:1.
